Y Stabl (The Stable)

back of house Y Stabl is a fully-furnished 3-Star self-catering holiday cottage on two floors at the end of the three terraced Tŷ Lôn Cottages.

The Tŷ Lôn cottages were purpose converted in 1991. The original stone building was used to house animals for the Tŷ Lôn farm, and is believed to be several hundred years old. We acquired the cottage in January 2007 to use for our own vacations, and to let out for the remainder of the year.

Children of all ages are of course welcome, and we can provide a travel cot and high chair on request. Well-behaved family pets are also tolerated on the condition that pets are kept out of the bedrooms and off the sofa, and that any doggie mess is properly cleaned up.

Please note that Y Stabl is a no-smoking cottage. A copy of Y Stabl Visitor Information Booklet, which includes full directions and our Disability Access Statement, can be downloaded here.

The cottage has two allocated car parking spaces, and guests of Y Stabl have exclusive use of the stone stable/ outhouse (in front of the cottage) to keep boats, sports equipment, bikes etc.

Y Stabl has its own private patio area to the rear of the cottage, and shares a large grass area with the two other cottages.

The site borders on a conservation reed bed Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to its importance as a sanctuary for some unusual migrating birds. Refer to our links page for some details on the 'reed bed SSSI'.
