Welcome to Y Stabl

View from Y Stabl

Y Stabl ('The Stable') is a fully-furnished self-catering holiday cottage strategically nestled in deepest Rhoscolyn (Anglesey, North Wales).

The cottage is in line of sight of Rhoscolyn beach; is only 100 metres from the Anglesey Coastal Path; is staggering distance from CAMRA Good Beer Guide pub The White Eagle; and a short walk from Rhoscolyn's beaches and natural interest/ geological sites, and the Silver Bay Holiday Village.

We have 4 bedrooms and our accommodation is registered with Visit Wales to sleep up to 7 people.

We look forward to having you stay at Y Stabl!

- "We thank you for our short weekend enabling us to attend our nephew's wedding at St. Gwenfaen's Church and it didn't rain. Excellent weekend!"
- "Fantastic location for spending J White's 70th birthday on 6th August- despite power cut at White Eagle where we had planned to hold his family celebration! However fish and chips on the terrace turned out to be a far better setting in such a lovely setting. We have walked miles and miles and would suggest Silver Bay via the cliff tops as a wonderful experience."
- "Really well-equipped cottage, very pretty, perfect location for the beach. Lovely welcome from Liz which made a great start to the 7 days. Been coming here to Rhoscolyn for years but this was the first time to this cottage. Will be back next year for sure. Mixed weather but always love to come here. Children really enjoyed the football pitch & garden, playing well into the dark of night."

  • Stable new roofMar '10: The upgrading of the old stable (outhouse) is now complete, with water and drainage supplies.  We've put in a new tumble dryer and moved the washing machine from the kitchen, and filled the gap left in the kitchen with a new dishwasher!
  • Oct '09: The old stable has been re-roofed and now has electricity/ lights, and a window to let in light.  We're planning to make it a more useful utility space for guests.
  • Apr '09: We've had a new (Rhoscolyn pine) dresser unit made for the downstairs bedroom, and added curtains to the entrance doors. Also a long cushion made to fit the entire windowsill in the lounge.
